Another Filipino on US TV

Im watching an episode of Starting Over on ETC. Did you know that one of the women in the house is a Filipina?

From what I gathered, she has a probleming saying no to anyone. Even if she's totally pressured planning and organizing her wedding, she'd still say yes to everything her housemates asked of her, even if deep inside, she really wants to say no.

Today's episode involves her talking to her parents about her issues, including allowing her to have the wedding the way she and her husband- to- be wants it, and not the traditional way her parents insist on having.

Hmm, sounds very Filipino to me.
